Dr. Tomah received his Naturopathic Doctor (ND) degree from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, a four-year program including over 1100 patient hours. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physiology from McGill University.
Dr. Tomah has a passion for digestion, and believes that most disease begins in the gut. So whether you suffer from a gastrointestinal disease such as “Irritable Bowel Syndrome” (which is really just a label), or a systemic issue such as eczema, fatigue, or autoimmune disease, fixing the gut provides the foundation for good health.
Along with digestion, proper sleep is one of the most essential aspects of our health. Deep sleep is the only time the body repairs and recovers, and sleep issues are tied to almost every single chronic disease. Dr. Tomah is trained in the RightSleep® method to correct sleep issues.
Dr. Tomah also has a special interest in Men’s Health, addressing complaints “below the belt,” including prostate dysfunction (BPH, prostatitis), low libido, and male fertility.
Along with clinical practice, Dr. Tomah is an adjunct faculty member of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, where he teaches Biomedical Sciences.
